...when you can clean up after your five-year-old's stomach virus while eagerly and joyfully discussing what food you'll order for take-out for your anniversary "date" (take-out after some of the kids are in bed).
...and you're happy simply because you are sitting in your dining room with your beloved eating take-out Chinese food.
...even though a sick five-year-old with a bucket is sitting 5 feet from you chatting the whole time.
...and a 7-month-old sits grabbing for his father's food on his father's lap (actually I was happy because it WAS his father's lap and not mine - he's a lot to wrestle with at dinner!)
This is the life! I am SO blessed.
